About me
I am an Illinois native who lived for 25 years in Southeast Asia. I have a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I studied international relations at Northern Illinois University, earning a master’s. I taught English in Thailand and Taiwan for five years. Later, I taught at university level and acted as a trainer and writer with many international and regional organizations. I have decades of experience with English language learners.
