Getting to Know Be, Am, Is, and Are
- Be: This verb is like a bridge in a sentence, linking the subject to more information about it.
- Am: This is the I version of be, used when talking about yourself.
- Is: Use this with he, she, or it to talk about a single person or thing.
- Are: This one's for talking about several people or things, like with we, you, or they.

- Be: She is a doctor. (Links she to being a doctor.)
- Am: I am sleepy. (Tells something about I.)
- Is: He is my pal. (Shares something about he.)
- Are: They are learners. (Tells about they.)

Common Mix-Ups to Avoid
- With Am:
- ✅ Right: I am heading to the shop. 🛒
- ❌ Not Right: I is heading to the shop. (Use 'am' with 'I')
- With Is:
- ✅ Right: She is a great singer. 🎤
- ❌ Not Right: She are a great singer. (Use 'is' for 'she')
- With Are:
- ✅ Right: We are buddies. 👭
- ❌ Not Right: We is buddies. (Use 'are' for 'we')
