Seasons

What Are Seasons?

Seasons are four times during the year with different weather and daylight. They are spring, summer, fall (autumn), and winter. 🌷☀️🍁❄️

Spring: Everything wakes up! Flowers bloom, and it starts to get warmer. It's like the world is opening its eyes after a long sleep. 🌼

Summer: The hottest season! It's time for swimming, ice cream, and long days in the sun. The sun stays up the longest during summer. 🌞

Fall (Autumn): Leaves change color and fall off trees. It gets cooler, and we start wearing jackets again. It's like nature is getting ready for a big sleep. 🍂

Winter: The coldest season with the shortest days. Sometimes it snows, and we can make snowmen or go sledding. It's like the world is wrapped in a quiet, white blanket. ❄️

Why Seasons Happen

Seasons change because of the Earth's tilt and its orbit around the sun. When one part of the Earth gets more sun, it's summer there. When it gets less sun, it's winter.

Activities for Each Season

  • Spring: Plant flowers, go for nature walks.
  • Summer: Visit the beach, have picnics.
  • Fall: Collect leaves, go pumpkin picking.
  • Winter: Build a snowman, drink hot cocoa.
